Tweeters, and Dave,
Now I know why I had a very ill nuthatch, hang out for two days. The
second day was spent drinking out of my ponds waterfall, and in the morning,
he was gone. I did wonder about him, and was hoping to collect him for
Dennis Paulson, (by the way I have a juv. Virginia Rail at the Puyallup Bird
Feeder for whenever I can get him to UPS), but couldn't find the nuthatch
anywhere.
Evening Grosbeaks have been showing up in small numbers, and yesterday, a
flock of 20+ Bushtits spent time cleaning my Weeping Birch.
A note of interest; I was reading a flyer about Puget Sound that came in
the mail. They called what I have always Quaking Aspen, Trembling Aspen. I
found this humorous, but wondered if some call it that, or if it was an
error. Thanks, Vicki
