Finally, I have the photos of the Baird's Sandpipers that were at
Thomas Pond for most of last week on my web site. You can find them in

I also got a couple of rather nice shots of a Spotted Sandpiper that
was hanging out there. This bird was incredibly tame - it almost walked
over my boots while I was skulking alongside the edge of the pond -
though it beat a dignified retreat once it realised the error of its
ways.

Now that I have almost wasted the entire weekend slaving over the
computer it is time to catch the last rays of sun and head over to
Montlake Fill.
