On November 14, Jim and Annet Dittmer observed a RED-NECKED GREBE near the
marina near Bateman Island in Richland.

On November 15, Bill LaFramboise found 3 WESTERN BLUEBIRDS at the WSU
Tri-Cities campus in North Richland. He also found 6 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS at
the corner of Harris and Spring Streets in North Richland. There was a
EURASIAN WIGEON at the duck pond in Columbia Park in Kennewick. Bill then
found 2 NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWLS in Hood Park.

Jack & Murrel Dawson reported a BALD EAGLE at the West Richland Post Office
on November 21.

Wayne Heinz and Lucie Fritz observed a GREAT HORNED OWL in WE Johnson Park
in Richland on November 26.

Ron and Carol Louderback reported an immature PEREGRINE FALCON along
Humorist Road at McNary NWR in Burbank on November 29; however their
description did not rule out Prairie Falcon which are also frequently seen
along Humorist.

Dana Ward reported a BROWN CREEPER at his Pasco home on November 30.

Nancy LaFramboise found a MEW GULL at Two Rivers Park on December 3. It
was on the lawn along Finley Road at the top of the lagoon. Down the
nature trail she found 6 COMMON REDPOLLS feeding in alder trees. Later, on
the Columbia River just east of the Bateman Island marina she observed 2
RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS among many other ducks including 1 female Ruddy
Duck and 6 Redheads.
