In regards to birding in SE Arizona, I don't know what
all has been mentioned, but Patagonia is a must. It's
down near Sierra Vista (or maybe it's part of Sierra
Vista; at any rate, they're near each other if not one
in the same). Down in that area (Sierra Vista), Cave
Creek is definitely a must. That's where I saw my life
Red-faced Warbler, and Mexican Spotted Owl. I have
relatives that live in Tucson, very near Pima
Community College. The area near there is awesome
habitat; I've seen White-winged Dove, Common
Ground-Dove, Greater Roadrunner, Verdin, Pyrrhuloxia,
Abert's Towhee, Phainopepla, Black-chinned Sparrow,
and a likely Lucy's Warbler, all in this area. If you
need any more information, I have a friend of a friend
who lives in Tucson and is a WINGS tour guide; he
definitely knows where to go. Let me know if you'd
like more info; if you're flooded already that's fine.
