I've spent some time the last few days trying to sort out gulls in the
God-Le-Hi-Te area. Some are easy like the little Mew Gull yesterday. But the
ones he was with are harder. Some are of course the Western-Glaucous-winged
Hybrid and a few are almost pure one way or other of those. But sorting out
the Herring and Thayer's and what seems to be hybrid of those is a daunting
task for someone with as little experience as I. I have posted a few
