Seemed like a year ago, I weighed in on the "Bean" count.
This year, I guess, it's the "Pink" count. This duo was
again at the end of K street in Hoquiam today between
1:00 and 1:30 p.m. They were with the two white-fronts.
But that was it. There were no other geese present.

At one point, the Pink-foots flinched at the sound
of brakes from a nearby train. The sound was somewhat
similar to a gunshot, but the foursome never took
flight while I was there. They were frequently in
alert posture during my observation despite being
clear across the field.
