A couple of us Inlanders are contemplating making a
dash for the coast to see the famous Pink-footed
Geese. Although I have birded the Hoquiam STP, I don't
remember a "K Street". Where is K Street?
Does anyone have a preferred method on how best to
work this area?

In addition, we want to rack up a few other state
birds such as White-tailed Kite, Black Phoebe, and
Red-Shouldered Hawk. Are all of these still present at
Julia Butler NWR?

On the return leg, we will drive through the gorge.
Are the Acorn Woodpeckers present now? Could anyone
offer directions to the mast tree?

Thx,

Gina Sheridan
