Hello,
I birded with Gene Revelas and Bruce LaBar today on the Grays Harbor CBC,
which was another success (81 species in our area). We covered areas of the
Point Brown Jetty, Damon Point, and much of the Ocean Shores Game Range.
The pickings were pretty slim in our area in the morning, when fog cramped
our style, but once it burned off we ended up doing pretty well.

A great number of Rock Sandpipers, 17, all apparently of the expected
subspecies; several more were found at Westport today. During our afternoon
visit I could scope one Northern Fulmar some distance offshore and a small
number of alcids including a pair of Marbled Murrelets. A good total of
raptors including three Peregrines and a Rough-legged Hawk at the Game
Range. Had fun pishing in several shrubby areas, totalling three Hermit
Thrushes and a number of sparrows.

That's about all for now!
