I buy the Golden Eagle Pass, the state parks pass, plus the duck stamp (even
though the GEP may be used for NWR entry), and the yellow parking stickers.
I look at paying these monies (in a pollyannaish way) as putting my money
where my mouth is: I value our parks systems and government efforts at
conservation and upkeep of lands, so will gladly pay the money. Am grateful
to be able to afford it. Even though I can count on the fingers of one hand
the number of times I used some of the passes this past year, to me it's
still money well spent.
