Subject: A Washington Birding Sticker

Once upon a time, I created a sticker for a Intentional Community subset
called Cohousing. We sold thousands of them at events at a couple bucks a
piece and the money went to a variety of causes. Years later, I still see
them on cars occasionally. A Washington Birding sticker could be used to
support WOS, Audubon, Habitat acquisition work such as the heron rookery of
recent success or the Marsh project out by Spokane. It can be our OWN
sticker, which identifies us to each other, much the way the Mountaineers
sticker does. I think OUR power, as birders together, is much larger than we
realize. Why give that away to some federal or state organization that has
little interest in what we do?

Or, to put this in another context, I personally donate money currently to
bird habitat and wildlife causes. I would be delighted to add to that
donation and proudly display a Washington Birder sticker. I am sure there
are WOS and Audubon members on this list. Either of those groups, or both
have the structure to create and distribute this.
