Greetings fellow birders...I'm a new subscriber to Tweeters and enjoying it
very much. I am also a poet and interested in poetry about birds. I would
appreciate any recommendations of your favorite bird poems. I highly recommend Mary
Oliver's bird poems...collected now in "Owls and Other Fantasies". She is a
lifelong observer of birds and other wildlife. The book has poems about owls,
goldfinches, Kingfisher, hummingbirds, wrens, herons, crows and even starlings!
I'd be interested in your comments on her poems.
