Yesterday among the thousands of blackbirds feeding with cattle at the Para property just west of the "Para Ponds" (NW of Othello) I saw one or two Tricolored Blackbirds and one Brown-headed Cowbird. There are probably several mixed in. The trick is finding the big foraging flock. View from McManamon Road, i.e. please respect private property. Head north on Broadway (west end of town) cross the RR and canal, down the hill past the potato storage sheds and wetlands, and watch for blackbirds on the north side of the road.
