Inlanders,

My sister (Mandy Moskwik) told me today that on Dec. 28th she saw a Turkey Vulture on Elk-to-Milan Road near my parent's house in Elk, WA (northern Spokane County). She described the bird to me thoroughly with all of the correct field marks. In addition the bird was seen near a road-killed deer, which also makes that sighting credible. I am convinced that she did indeed see one, so I may try to refind the bird. Does anybody know how unusual of a sighting this is?
