Hello Rob and Tweeters,
Just a quick note on A.E.Kitchin. I have a clipping from a bird column he
wrote for the Aberdeen Newspaper that discribes the world of the Peregrine
Falcon or Duck Hawk. Mr.Kitchin tells of the Peregrine and its status, then
towards the end of the article he tells about the Peregrine east of the
Cascades and how in eastern Washington these falcons are called Prairie
Falcons and that the Peregrine and the Prairie are one and the same. So
having a Red-breasted Nuthatch smear sap at its nest cavity may only be the
knowledge of the day or maybe that of the writer.
Later Mike............Healthy Happy New Years to ALL!
