Unfortunately, Port Orchard airport is now a no trespass area. There is a
new fence around the
area and no trespassing signs are posted. There is not a no trespassing
sign on the entrance north
of the pizza restaurant. I entered there noticed the area is now
short-platted (probable mobile
sites) and was greeted by an angry manager. The area can be accessed by the
gravel road north
of the airport, west of Lakeway Blvd. Proceed up the gravel road always
bearing left on the road
until it turns west. The berm around the gravel pit is just to the south.
Look 100 feet east and
you will see the chain fence. Rubber boots are necessary now, in March the
road might be passable.
This area is owned by a timber group and currently there are no (no
trespassing signs).
