3 p.m. - 01 Feb 2003 at Woodland Bottoms, near Woodland, Cowlitz County,
WA -

Approximately 30 GREAT EGRETS grouped around the edge of newly ponded water
in pasture land. The attraction was likely drowned earthworms as a small
flock of gulls was similarly grouped around an adjacent area of inundated
pasture.

Two separate BALD EAGLES overhead, each flying from the north to south in
the direction of Ridgefield NWR and Vancouver Lake lowlands.
