Hello All,
Stellers and Gray Jays are masters at not only performing near perfect Red-tailed screams , but also Northern Goshawk and Coopers Hawk calls. While performing bird surveys in the Blue Mountains I go check on the frequent Coopers and Goshawk calls I hear as often times the creator is either a Stellers or Gray Jay. So don't be fooled into thinking you can tell the difference in a thick wood.
