Hi Folks:
There have been some requests for directions to Two Rivers Wildlife Mgt.
Area which is south of Monroe, WA. Charlie Wright and I had at least 6
Swamp Sparrows there yesterday in the late afternoon. Here are some
directions (which probably could be improved). Do your best w/ these.

Two Rivers WMA Directions
Using DeLorme is not very good for that 2-River area, but if that's all
you have , the area is pg 80, section B-1 See Crescent Lake which is
west of hwy 203 and south of Monroe.
I used Wahl and Paulson, A Guide to Bird Finding in WA for my directions.
If someone is coming south from Monroe on hwy 203 they could turn off west
on Tualco Road or on 203rd St SE which cuts thru the former prison farm.
This area is shown in The Thomas Guide, Metro Puget Sound, pg. 478. Neither
DeLorme, or Thomas Guide shows 2 Rivers WMA as a special area.
Our parking lot at 2 Rivers was the large one at the south of the area,
facing Crescent Lake (which looks like a slough, and was to our right as we
walked in about 1/2 mile. The prison reformatory farm is now closed, so
viewing might be good up on some of those seasonal ponds farther north on
the back roads.
