Last Sunday, 2 February 2003, I made a tour of Lincoln and Grant Counties
looking for Snow Buntings, rosy-finches, and Snowy Owls. I had no luck with
any of these. I did, however, see 3 different PRAIRIE FALCONS: 1-near the
jct of Rds 44 & V, 2-Osborn Bay at Banks Lake, 3-Wilbur along Hwy 2. I also
saw a pair of GOLDEN EAGLES along a back road north of Hartline.

Other raptors: Bald Eagle (3), N Harrier (2), Red-tailed Hawk (2),
Rough-legged Hawk (8), Am Kestrel (1).
