Hi,

A friend and I birded the Samish/Skagit area today. A beautiful sunny day
after the fog lifted Not a lot of quantity, but great quality. Among the
more notable:

2 Merlins, 1 male and 1 probable juvenile
1 Prairie Falcon
2 Peregrine Falcons
1 Dark Morph Red Tail
1 Dark Morph Rough Legged
1 Short Eared Owl

Also:

Bald Eagles
Red Tailed Hawks
Rough Legged Hawks
Northern Harriers including 3 or 4 "Gray Ghosts".
Northern Pintails
Wigeons
Green Winged Teal
Dunlin
Black bellied Plovers
Mallards
Buffle Heads
Surf Scoters
Common Loon
Double Crested Cormorant
Snow Geese
Tundra Swans
Trumpter Swans
Ravens
Crows
Song Sparrows
Marsh Wren
Red Winged Blackbirds
Robins
Starlings
etc, etc,

And a beautiful sunset to end the day.
