If that's the case, why don't we see an even larger number of the hardy tree
swallows? Maybe these birds are moving around states. I couldn't think of
why a group would decide to migrate from south or central america leaving
all the other 'smarter' birds behind. Winter is far from over, especially in
the east. I'm just thinking....
