Gary - not to burst a balloon here, but sometimes I think what happens is
that you hear (but don't realize you are hearing) the bird species. Maybe
it's a left-brain/right-brain thing, but it leads to musings about that
species but no consciousness that the birds are right there. Then when
you see them you feel either psychic or startled by "the coincidence". It
happens just too often and with too much of a weirdness factor for me to
believe that it isn't at least often triggered by bird sounds.
