The following birds were observed by Wayne Weber at Lake Terrell,
near Ferndale, WA between about 4:30 and 5:30 PM on February 3, 2003.
The east and north sides of the lake were almost covered with
waterfowl, most of which were NORTHERN PINTAILS and AMERICAN COOTS.

In addition to the identified waterfowl, there were 30 unidentified
scaup on the lake.

One PACIFIC TREE-FROG was heard calling at the lake.

In addition to birds seen at the lake itself, a large concentration
of waterfowl was present in a flooded field just SE of the
intersection of Lake Terrell and Mountain View Roads, just outside
the Wildlife Area. This included:
