Would appreciate your expertise about the coming migration of
raptors, storks and wadders. These birds should be coming through from
Africa, as hostilities begin in Iraq. I know Israel does not fly jets
during heavy moment of raptors. I have also heard that most of the
wetlands of southern Iraq have been drained. Has this caused a change
in rest over behavior? Does anyone out there know the ramifications of
this war may have on gulf ecology? According to National Geo. the Gulf
still hasn't recovered from oil spills during Gulf War.
