Greetings,

On Feb 11, I went birding the Bridgeport area, Douglas County.

THE Blue Jay was seen with 3 Steller's Jays in Bridgeport at 7th St and
Fairview Avenue at the west entrance to Marina Park. The Blue Jay has been
present since 7 Dec 2002.

At the Wells Wildlife Area on the Bridgeport Bar [Delorme Atlas, Page
100,D3] I checked out the birds at the access where Grange Rd make a sharp
curve,1.4 miles from SR 173. [this is the American Tree Sparrow spot].Grange
Rd leaves SR 173 at MP 7.7

Long-tailed Duck...A pair were out on the lake.

Rusty Blackbird...An adult male in vegetation along the shoreline. This bird
showed virtually no rusty edging except for a very minor amount on the
supercilium. Dull irridescence and a thinner, slightly decurved bill with a
slightly hooked tip were noted.

Prairie Falcon...One on a pole along Grange Rd.

Good Birding,
