Just a last-minute reminder that the Great Backyard Bird Count starts
tomorrow. It's kind of fun and something a bit different to do. I have lots
of forest birds through here, but was quite surprised to have a very early
yellow warbler for the count last year, so one never knows what will be
seen. If you go into the site, you can go back and check what has been seen
in Washington state in past years plus see how we compare with other states
and counts. The count is sponsored by Cornell's Laboratory of Ornithology.
