Dear Valerie: I am in a bit of a rush at the moment, so cannot spend too
much time on your hawk. But I can say that it is neither a Coopers nor a
Goshawk. It is a buteo but dark lightging means a bit more time needed to
play with photo and study it. Sorry I need to rush out the door, but by the
time I return, you will likely have an answer.
