Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday February 20. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

On February 17 a RUSTY BLACKBIRD was photographed in Enterprise. It has not
yet been relocated.

The North Portland MCCOWN'S LONGSPUR, the Woodburn VERMILION FLYCATCHER, the
Florence BALTIMORE ORIOLE, the Springfield BLUE JAY, and the two RUFFS in
Eugene are still being reported.

RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRDS are now being reported all along the coast. One was in
Portland February 14.

Three LONG-TAILED DUCKS are still at the mouth of the Siuslaw River. A
EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL was along Canary Road south of Florence February
15.

A male WESTERN BLUEBIRD was on the east side of Sauvie Island February 18.
Large numbers of SANDHILL CRANES and SNOW GEESE are still being seen on the
Island. On February 14, 1200 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS and 6700 DUNLIN were at
Ankeny NWR. At least 23 TRUMPETER SWANS are now near the EE Wilson State
Wildlife Area. An EMPEROR GOOSE is still being seen at Fern Ridge Reservoir.
Two EURASIAN GREEN-WINGED TEAL and an EARED GREBE were at the Creswell
Sewage Ponds February 18.

BLACK-BACKED WOODPECKERS are now being seen at the Cache Mt. burn near
Suttle Lake and at the burn near Lake Billy Chinook. On February 13 a
SPOTTED SANDPIPER was in Bend and three SAY'S PHOEBES were at the Redmond
Sewage Ponds. Two SAGE THRASHERS were near Fossil February 19.

The GRAY-CROWNED ROSY-FINCHES, AMERICAN TREE SPARROWS, BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS,
and SNOW BUNTINGS are still being seen in Northeast Oregon.
