This morning still trying to locate the Harris's Sparrow that was seen a
week ago. Actually still trying to find the right place on Lower River
Road. I did find some White-crowned Sparrows and Golden-crowned Sparrows in
some wild roses south and east of the flushing channel to Vancouver Lake,
but no Harris's. Lots of gulls, some in large (500+) rafts on the Columbia
River. Also lots of Bald Eagles sitting in trees along the river. I was
surprised to find 28 Great Egrets where just a few days before only saw a
couple. Post Office Lake had over 100 Tundra Swans on it.
