While in Seattle on Friday evening, we saw 4 male EURASIAN WIGEON, in a
small flock of AMERICAN WIGEON on the east side of Green Lake Park. This
was on a short walk to limber up the legs. ( This is about 68th Street
North a couple blocks west of I-5 ) The wigeon were coming out of the water
to graze in the lawn and we encountered them on a walk southerly from the
big city park complex with parking near Starbucks.
While on the subject of things from other lands, the Thai Ocean restaurant
located nearby (which opened a 5 p.m.) is recommended!
