Greetings,
Rob & Natalie McNair-Huff and I just returned from a day of birding from Sequim to Salt Creek along the north edge of the Olympic Peninsula. The weather was clear, but COLD in some spots. Nothing too unusual to report, but we confirmed the continued presence of Stumpy, the Emporer Goose at Lincoln Park in Port Angeles, along with 4 beautiful chocolate brown Dusky Canadas. We had a 17 duck day, 3 great Oystercatchers along the beach at John Wayne Marina, and 60 species for the day.
