Hi Paul and Tweeters,

The South Campus Center (SCC) is behind the huge long hospital building. 15th Avenue NE runs into Columbia Way, which is the road where the SCC is. 15th Ave intersects with NE Pacific which is the main drag in front of the hospital. (Unfortunately parking in this area is a stiff price $8.00) SCC looks out over Portage Bay and has a cafeteria which makes for a pleasant place to eat, even on cruddy days. There are some outbuildings and docks down by the water. We saw the Redhead at lunch east of the Oceanography building near the salmon rearing pond. In the evening it was a bit west of there moving towards the Oceanography building with a group of widgeon and scaup. I think it may hang out for a bit, at least I hope so!

I hope I have a chance to meet some of you at lunch today :-)
