Here on the east side of the Cascades, Wigeons hang out with American Coots
which appear to dive for milfoil which they bring to the surface and "share"
with the wigeons.

HI Burt:
American Wigeons are kleptoparasites of diving ducks and of geese/swans.
They steal food that the other birds bring up to the surface, food that
the wigeon can't normally reach!
