One thing I've been curious about is, what's become of the old Black
Crowned Night Heron roost that used to be near Conway, is it (are they)
still there? It seems I haven't seen any reference to Skagit County
Night Herons on tweeters in quite a while, and I haven't seen them up
there myself either, for what that's worth.

Tweets,

A couple of weeks ago I passed by the site of the heron roost on Fir
Island and was disturbed to see that the property near the roost had
been cleared. I would guess that the change disturbed the herons as much
or more than it disturbed me. Looked for herons but saw none. The roost
tree/shrub is still there but it has greater southern exposure.
