Today, I was one of six doing the South Snoqualmie valley part of the ELWAS
CBC. One interesting sight was a flock of 70-80 crows and one raven in one
mass flock obviously harassing some bird. There was such a mass of birds it
took a while to find out which bird was being harassed. We finally found a
Barn Owl in the midst of the melee frantically trying to elude the
harassers. It eventually disappeared to the north. The area was along NE
100th St. north of Sikes Lake.
