Carie and I birded Mima Mounds this afternoon on our way home from
Centralia. The weather was to good to pass up.
We watched a White Tailed Kite chase and harass a Red Tailed Hawk. We
had 3 kites for the day. 2 adults and 1 juvenile.
I was able to photograph a male Northern Harrier at close range sitting
on a stump. We also had 9 Western Meadowlarks.
