Friday, Jan. 10, 12:40 p.m. Hi, this is Steve Mlodinow. Today there was
a RUSTY BLACKBIRD near Silvana. Take Pioneer Highway north from Silvana.
Go west on Norman Road three-quarters of a mile. There's a dairy farm
there. There was a flock of several hundred RED-WINGED and BREWER'S
BLACKBIRDS with one RUSTY. Also at Lucky Island Wildlife Management Area
at the end of Eide Road just west of Stanwood, there was a HARRIS'S
SPARROW. There is a thicket line that splits the reserve there at the
entrance to the parking lot at the end of Eide Road. That's where the
HARRIS'S SPARROW was. And at Utsalady Bay on the north end of Camano
Island, there were 43 EARED GREBES. That's it. Good luck and good birding.
