I was recently birding along the Samamish river
trail in Woodinville and encountered 4 barn swallows.
I am personally used to seeing the first swallows of
the year in April, so this something new for me. It
seems that many other people have been seeing swallows
in our region as well. Have they arrived early,
haven't left yet, or what?
