I was recently birding on the Samamish river trail
in Woodinville when i encountered 4 barn swallows. I
am personally used to seeing the first swallows of the
year in April, so this was something new for me. it
seems that other people have been seeing swallows
recently as well. have they arrived back early, never
left at all, or what?
