We took a trip to the south slope of Rattlesnake Mt. today in hopes of
seeing the Gyr. No such luck but other good birds were around.

We saw a total of 3 Rough-legged Hawks. Along Case we did not see the
falcons, but did see an adult Northern Goshawk - quite the sight. Many
goshawks seen in the lower Columbia basin are immatures. Along Crosby Road
(where the Gyr was originally seen) we saw a Prairie Falcon as well as both
a Loggerhead and a Northern Shrike.
