Tuesday January 14th evening update, sponsored in part by the Wild
Birds Unlimited Stores in Vancouver and North Vancouver.

The feature birds are: GYRFALCON and AMERICAN AVOCET.

Sightings for Sunday, January 19th

There was a GYRFALCON at Brunswick Point in Ladner.

The two CRESTED MYNAS were at 2nd and Wylie in Vancouver.

Saturday, January 20th

At the Reifel Refuge in Ladner was a BARN SWALLOW, a GREAT-HORNED
OWL, a VIRGINIA RAIL, a MERLIN, a SPOTTED SANDPIPER, a PEREGRINE FALCON
and an AMERCAN KESTREL was at 33A and 41B street.

There were no sightings for Friday.

Thursday, January 16th

The AMERCIAN AVOCET was at Beach Grove in Tsawwassen in the morning.

There was a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT and at least 2 WESTERN MEADOWLARKS at
Blackie Spit.
