Howdy,
I spent 15 minutes this morning working the obstruction current at Clover
Point, Victoria. The Thayer's Gulls were passing by about 10m away, so I
snapped about 35 shots of them in flight. Of course, most of the images
were garbage - my camera isn't particularly good on moving objects.
However, I did get some reasonable pictures, showing many of the species'
field marks.
You can access the images from http://www.islandnet.com/~mgs/birds/Gull.html
Cheers,
