My wife Sally and I saw the gyrfalcon perched in one of the isolated
trees in the large field east of Snohomish at 2:40 yesterday. It was
our fifth falcon species of the day. (Merlin along Pioneer Highway near
Norman Rd., kestrel along Boe Rd., Prairie at the Samish "T", and
peregrine at the "East 90".
