Greetings,

The juvenile ICELAND GULL was at Harrison Yacht Pond along Dallas Road,
Victoria BC this morning (January 28). It has apparently been observed
there on a number of occasions. Several birders have seen it at Clover
Point over the past week or so.

The bird is very approachable so you can get stunning views. I've posted a
few photos at
http://www.islandnet.com/~mgs/birds/Gull.html

The gull section of my web site is very new. Many of you have kindly given
me permission to use your photos, so over the next month or so, I'll
incorporate them into the site. Thank you.

In the gull section, I've posted several images of birds whose ages I'm not
sure of. Your comments would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Michael G. Shepard
