As a student at Shoreline Community College, I had the opportunity to perform a fauna survey for an EIS last winter and spring all over the campus. Twice I saw Anna's males singing and displaying in January. I also witnessed this activity through Feb, March and April. The second January observation had a bit of snow falling, early morning, and two males singing and displaying to one (that I could see) female. It was very neat to watch, and I too thought it early in the season for such behavior. Other observations?
