Hi Tweeters,

Several years ago I saw several crows pecking a moribund (nearly dead) squirrel at Marymoor. I considered intervening but the squirrel was probably so close to death, it would have probably died before having someone euthanize it. It was barely moving or reacting to the crows.
Another time while driving I saw a crow chasing a squirrel across someones fenced in yard. I don't know if the crows can actually kill a squirrel but if it was sick or severely injured they might become opportunistic and try to hasten it along for the meal.
