Been watching the bats chase after the remains of the fireworks as they fall
(not everything burns up). It appears the bats figure out they don't want
the items before attempting to catch them, which is good.

This behavior makes me wonder if there has been any kind of reports of bats
or birds that have been injured or killed by fireworks? Not being
anti-fireworks (though I can't say I'm supportive either). Just wondering if
fireworks have been attributed to any number of bat or bird injuries or
deaths.
