Tweets,
Just got back from a quick scan (1:40-2:00 pm) of the Turning Basin area and had the first LEAST SANDPIPERS since May 5. Two of the little guys were amongst KILLDEER near the Hamm Creek outlet. The outgoing tide also showed one harbor seal lurking in the area. Birds seen:

Great Blue Heron
Canada Goose (3 adults, two juv)
Mallard (13)
Osprey (one adult and at least one young at Hamm Creek (City Light substation) nest)
Red-tailed Hawk (overflight)
Killdeer (9 - the most I've seen here at one time)
Least Sandpiper (2)
Glaucous-winged Gull (3)
Rock Dove (4)
American Crow (>10, with one harassing the Red-tailed Hawk)
Barn Swallow
Bewick's Wren
European Starling (>20, mostly imm.)
Red-winged Blackbird
House Finch (3)
House Sparrow (4)

May all your birds be identified,

Denis DeSilvis
