There's a rare bird alert for an out of town HORNED PUFFIN.

Sightings for Wednesday, July 9:
A Horned Puffin was seen at Tofino on the West Coast of Vancouver
Island on Tuesday, July 8. For more information about this bird
please call Adrian at 250-725-1243.

Monday, July 7:
1 Western Meadowlark and a Green Heron were seen east of Fort Langly,
off River Road and 268th Street on the Beaver Creek Dyke.

1 Black Swift and 2 Ospreys were Northwest of Lougheed Mall.

Sunday, July 6:
5 Black Swifts were over Scott Road in Burnaby, and another 10 Black
Swifts were over Boundary Road on the Vancouver side.
2 Turkey Vultures flew over Newton Athletic Park in Surrey. Another 4
Turkey Vultures were seen from the bottom work's yard of Cypress
Provincial Park in West Vancouver.

Saturday, July 5:
The male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was again seen in Burnaby Mountain
Park about 1/2 kilometer down the wider trail which is accessed from
the lower parking lot.

Friday, July 4:
In Pitt Meadows, there were 4 Eastern Kingbirds at the bend in Rennie
Road as well as 4 Gray Catbirds.
