I presume these birds are monitored but figured someone might be interested
anyway. I observed 4 or 5 female Purple Martins along the Tacoma waterfront
west of the Silver Cloud Inn. They were near the nest boxes on pilings in
that area. There were also 2 Glaucous-winged Gull chicks being attended by
an adult on a nearby piling.

Not much time for birding but we greatly enjoyed our visit!
